BBQ Soy Curls

I normally use this dish to introduce people to vegetarian eating.  Once they’ve tried it, they are normally convinced that all vegetarian eating is not the same. We love to eat this along side coleslaw and baked beans for a traditional barbecue meal. Try it on a bun, topped with coleslaw for a different type of sandwich. It also works great as a warm topping to a salad.


  • 2 cups Soy Curls
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 T beef-style broth powder
  • 1 1/2 cups BBQ sauce of your choice


  1. Pour boiling water over Soy Curls and broth powder in a large bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes or more.
  2. Drain and add BBQ sauce.
  3. Heat thoroughly and serve.
