Mixed Berry Smoothie

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 frozen bananas   
  • 4-5 strawberries
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1T maple syrup or sugar
  • 1-2T ground flax seeds or chia seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach (optional)
  • 1-2 cups ice (depending on how thick you want it)

(if using frozen berries, use soy, almond or rice milk instead of ice)

Directions:

Toss all ingredients together into a Vita-Mix or high speed blender.  Blend until smooth.
