Brilliant Kale with Red Peppers

This recipe is one of the first ways I have been able to prepare kale that
my children delight in rather than endure.


  • 1 bunch kale, rinsed, stems removed and chopped
  • 1 tspn garlic, crushed
  • ½ C onion, sliced
  • ¼ C red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 tspn McKay’s Chicken Style seasoning
  • 1 ½ tspn nutritional yeast flakes
  • ½ tspn olive oil


  1. Heat oil in a large skillet.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients and stir to combine well.
  3. Cover until the kale wilts – approximately 5 minutes. Stir and serve.
