Easy Pasta Salad

This makes my mouth water even thinking about how great this tastes.  We like to vary the type of vegetables and the type of pasta we use to keep things different. This is such an easy salad and can be enjoyed warm or cold.


  • 1 16 ounce bag of frozen vegetables of your choice, defrosted
  • 10-15 kalamari olives, pitted and chopped
  • 4 to 8 ounces whole wheat pasta
  • Fat free Italian dressing of you choice


  1. Bring a large pot of water to boiling.
  2. Add the whole wheat pasta and cook according to the package directions.
  3. Add the bag of vegetables to the cooking pasta approximately 2 minutes before the pasta is done.  Continue cooking until the pasta is done.
  4. Remove and drain the pasta and vegetables.
  5. Toss in the olives and the dressing.
  6. Serve warm or cold.
