Green Gorilla Smoothie

 

Here’s a nutritious way to start your day!

 

Ingredients

  • ½ head romaine lettuce
  • 2 ripe bananas, peeled and frozen
  • 2 oranges, peeled, seeds removed
  • 1 mango
  • 1/4 cup ground flax seed
  • 2 cups water/ice or soy/almond milk

Directions:

Put all ingredients into a powerful blender like a VitaMix  and blend until smooth. Vary amount of ice, depending on how thick you want it. You can also vary flavor with other fruits and greens to create a different taste.
