Ingredients:
- 1 1 /3 cup warm water
- 2 Tbsp honey, maple syrup or molasses
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
- 3 Tbsp vital wheat gluten
- 1/4 cup dried soy milk
- 2 1/2 tsp yeast
Preparation:
- Dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Mix all ingredients and knead until dough is elastic.
- Place in greased bowl, let rise one hour.
- Punch down, form into a loaf, place in loaf pan and let rise for 45 minutes.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes (lightly tent with aluminum foil during last 20 minutes to prevent crust from over-browning).
