Ingredients:
- 2 c dry green split peas
- 7 ½ c water
- ½ c sweet potato (optional)
- 2-3 c chopped spinach
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 large carrot, cut up
- 1 large onion, chopped
- ¼ tsp thyme
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 bay leaf
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Preparation:
- Combine all ingredients.
- Bring to a boil.
